STAINLESS STEEL HEAT EXCHANGERS (COPPER BRAZED)
Technical Specifications:
- Cover plates, channel plates and outlets are 316L Stainless Steel.
- Braze material - Copper.
- Available with and without mounting studs.
- Max. design temperature is 437F.
- Max. working pressure is 435 psi.
Applications:
- Radiant Heating Systems.
- Snow Melt Systems.
- Domestic Water.
- Swimming Pools*.
- Glycol Solutions.
- Shell and tube heat exchanger replacements.
*Chlorinated water may be corrosive to 316L st. steel and copper. Proper chlorine control is required.
- Same size connections on both sides.
Installation Requirements:
- Heat exchanger must be piped in counterflow directions.
- Fluid must be maintained at 6.5-8.5 pH.
- Strainers with 20 or greater mesh must be installed on both heat exchanger's inlets to avoid fouling.
